Alex has been teaching for over ten years and all ages and skill levels are welcome. Students range from new musicians wanting to learn their first instrument, singer-songwriters wanting to get more proficient on guitar, and experienced guitarists looking to further their abilities and learn new styles. Lessons are not rigid but flow with the student’s needs and interests. Long-time students have evolved through different stages in their musical development. Having worked in recording studios as a musician and engineer, Alex is able to guide students through the whole process of writing, recording, mixing, and releasing a song. He has also prepared students to perform their original songs at an open mic night and eventually perform their own shows.
